This season, PH5 continues its exploration of the intersection between science and art, drawing inspiration from the ambitious efforts to resurrect the scent of extinct flowers through historical pressings. The collection takes cues from Resurrecting the Sublime, a project in which scientists and artists collaborated to reconstruct the fragrances of lost flora—not as a solution, but as a provocation for reflection on humanity’s impact on the natural world. By engaging with both science and memory, the project challenges us to consider what has vanished and what might still be recovered.

 

Last season, PH5 highlighted the fragile future of the Lake Titicaca frog, a species at risk due to climate change. This season, the brand looks deeper into the past, exploring the remnants of what was once here, offering a dialogue on preservation, absence, and possibility.

 

This season PH5’s signature jacquard knitwear is reimagined to mimic layers of stacked garments, creating an illusion of multiple pieces worn together in a single form. This season also introduces needle-felted transitions, seamlessly merging different fabrications—a tactile metaphor for the way past and future intertwine.
